It's a load of nonsense - I've left before, but not in a "I hate ___ so I'm leaving way" - about a month after I joined, I was ill and didn't come on for a month, and then between Big Brothers' I've left for months at a time. People didn't care I left, and I didn't care that people didn't care.

Moral of the story: don't get emotionally attached!
Are you joking? People actually get attached to members on a TV forum? That's ridiculous!

I have noticed it being very cliqey around here, people gang up on new members like happened to me yesterday for having a counter opinion.
You're a very funny guy you know. You were the one who was rude towards me in the first place. You come from nowhere and telling me I shout crap and I'm not objective, and not in a nice way, you're the one to blame. Period.

And as a lot of new members, you think that, when you're in a debate, it's actually an argument.
I thought you said this forum was that awful that you didn't want to stay. I call that an attention seeker.

I agree with Mark and Matt, some people joined and put me off. I don't post that much since this summer because the forum was terrible during Big Brother.
I feel like Chewy, it's getting a bit complicated to 'speak' out loud like we used to do.
After all, it's a forum, nothing more, nothing less.

Exactly. I just stay out of the majority of this stuff, and I think I've only ever participated in one TiBB game, and it was more hassle than it was worth. If you stay out of things like that, you don't get involved in any arguments. It works for me!

I admit that I possibly had a slightly uncompromising undertone but you started the hostility by accusing me of saying things that I hadn't - that's very unfair in my book.

It's always had it's problems, and there have always been members who cause problems. It's no better or worse than it was the year I joined. If members want to stay here, they just have to ride out the storm.

I've dished out a fair amount of insults in my time here, but I've taken them in return too.

My advice: Develop a thick skin, and try not to take an argument too far or you may find yourself with a 16 month ban.

It;s the forming of cliques, people who will back someone up in an argument regardless of their personal views or vote for them in a game because of loyalty.

Nice of someone to say it, thats the exact list that has/does cause problems.

(BTW, I don't mean to imply that i dislike the people on that list, I like or at least respect most of them)

I don't know what it was like before Big Brother 9 started, but since it finished the forum has been crap; Too many people are too attached to it, there are too many cliques, too many idiots, and some members are too young (I think you should have to be 15 to join- I'd imagine that to be the certificate to watch the last few series' of BB). And the games are getting boring now too, it's almost always the same people who take part in different games.

Anyway, I just hope it all changes again when CBB starts.

Re: The age limit.

One of the youngest members I ever met on here was either 11 or 12. His username is corkie and he joined about the same time as me.

He's been a brilliant member and hasn't ever caused any trouble, so I think it's unfair to blame age.

If you are looking for a reason for forum tension, you don't have to look far. Just have a scour around and you'll find that the members who's heads are so far up their own arse are the ones who cause ****, cuz they dish it out but are offended when they have to take it.

Ye, I agree with that list. I could name others but that list pretty much sums it up.

Britney fans wouldn't be on that list if it wasn't for some people on that list, and some people on that list wouldn't be on there if it wasn' for Britney fans. Pretty much a full circle lol!

You realise naming names of who you think is responsible for problems is the quickest way to get this thread locked and removed for breaking forum rules and targetting individual members.

Trust me, I speak from experience.
