Well I read it as him saying protecting humans from the changing of gender/homosexuality is as no less important than saving the rain forests from destruction. In other words, global warming is a big issue but the "blurring" of gender and protecting mankind from that is just as important.

I think it's more trans gender people than homosexuality itself, but obviously you can see where it comes into place.

The only reason the majority who do believe in religion now is because they are brought up with those views. I think we should educate the young about religion but not sway them into believing or not believing. Let them make their own mind up when they are old enough
