The school nurse came into our class a few weeks ago with a hard blue model penis. She then got someone to put a condom on it.

Yes I gave comments

this should not be under Serious Debates.

Typical.
Don't have a go at me for having a laugh. I've learnt most of this and have known all there is to know on Sex Education, so don't try and have a go at me, alright?
You can ask me any question and gareenteed I'll get it right. Usually by prctise, but you know.

This is your thread.
Located under "Serious Debates"

You asked for Comments
thats what you got.
Yeah, thats not my point. I said stop trying to have a go at me. And clearly you ain't listening, are you?

I am pointing out what you have said on here is a Joke

Perfect Example of Jake on here:
"Lol.
What about boys giving the girls head? Well lick outs. "

That is a Fact.

Other posters have put serious debates on here,
however.

Ed Balls the New Labour Education Sectretary
said on TV news "Every Child in Every School will get Sex Education"

But he did not say if it was any good
or if it got Full Funding.

We never had a sex education, when I was in year 5 we were basically given a diagram of the womb and told that when we were teenagers we`d bleed once a month. That was literally it.

Then when I was in yr 7 or 8 we were told about periods yet again,no mention of sex.We were given free tampax and had to watch a video about a girl having her first period.

Then when I was in yr 10,by this time everyone had had sex anyway we were finally told that there were several forms of contraception and that If we were having sex we should always use protection.

Seriously that was the extent of it and I`m not that old ,I only left school 2 and a half years ago.I will admit when I first started having sex I was almost totally clueless about some aspects of sex and I really dont understand how schools get away with having so little sex education.

My 7 year old brother has just started it at school. Most of the parents are fuming because they are watching short animation films about it.
I think they are going too far now. (the school)

there isnt enough sex ed and what there is isnt adquete as the 13 yr new father shows its not a recent thing either so certainly not a sign of the times as one poster put it
when i was at school we had a very basic few sex ed lessons that were more about the changes body goes through and periods but by the time we had it most of us had periods and also lost virginity so what we was taught was pretty much worthless
there needs to be something starting from a younger age (obviously age apprioate) to stop more 12 yr olds going out having unprotected sex but it needs to not only be the schools responsibilty but parents as well i think parents need to stop treating it still as a taboo subject and actually tell their kids the facts i know that i shall be very open with my daughter about things like this so that she is aware and so on before it is to late

08marsh, I've deleted posts relating to your remarks. Don't say things like that about other posters again or you will be banned.

I've never had sex ed

That doesn't mean I know nothing about it though. You see it on TV and on the internet.

We're supposed to get RSE every year for two weeks during R.E, but 4th years don't get it and the stuff you do in juniors is just about feelings for others, hormones, personal hygeine and all that jazz.
