Considering movie legends who pass away only get a fleeting tribute as part of a montage during the Oscars, there is little reason for Jade to get anything more than the tribute at the end - which is what most people here seem to favour.

Why would they have a minuite silence for her? It's because of her and Shilpa that the show has lost it's long-term viewers. Sad, but it's true.

It's not because someone has cancer that they have to be more respected. OK it's sad and I'm not denying but come on, Jade doesn't affect the show in any way.

I wouldn't say she hasn't affected the show. She has brought the show a lot of publicity and appeared in 3 series.

And you can't blame the failure of BB8 on Jade as if anything more people would've tuned in to see how they would handle things after all the scandal, no it's bad figures were a reflection on the series.

You can't deny that the failure of BB could be explained by the whole bullying story.

The figures were down before the race row, only that series appears to be higher because Jade's eviction for 8.8m viewers which is the highest ever eviction. Before the race row the figures were around 3.5m.

Soo, according to the figures it looks like the race row was what affected the ratings. However if you take out Jade's Eviction rating, the average of CBB5 would still be about 4.4m, so it does seem that it is the race row that did it.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that the race row in Celeb BB5 was the beginning of the end for BB, and the show has failed to recover since.

Obviously though anyone who is in anyway a fan of Jade Goody is in no way a genius!

The race row started half way through the second week. The figures plummeted as soon as Jade entered and it stayed that way. Lets remember that the first week was before the race row.



Now compare that first week and a bit to BB8 as a whole

Ive had it to the back teeth with all this Jade stuff now to be honest. Any normal person would want to die in peace, not parade herself in the papers and all over the telly. Ive stopped buying newspapers now, Im fed up with it all.

Jade is amazing! It must be the hardest thing for her, i hope she has the nicest smiles before her time ends... she deserves it
