- Finish this year at college.
- Start my second year of the Btec ND Performing Arts and finish with DDD/DDM.
- Move in with my bf and progress to either theatre school (hopefully Central School of Speech&Drama, maybe RADA etc), or do the next course up where I am (you can do a degree there, or a foundation degree, idk).

No idea then on.
I don't really know what I'm going to do in the future.
I know what I want to do eventually (west end/musical theatre/performing) but just haven't really thought about how to get there.
going to talk to tutors after the hols :]
Ah cool my friend (who's 19 fom) is on the last round of auditions for rada and central school of speech and drama

Might as well try, it's all I can do :]
I'm planning to apply to loads of theatre schools, as well as unis, and my current college.

Before September 2009, I will continue to work, I will keep up singing lessons and dance lessons, and I will complete my Foundation Diploma in Musical Theatre.

In September start my 3 year degree at drama school, specialising in Musical Theatre.

After that, who knows?! Maybe a MA? Then onto my career

I sound like such a mum at the moment, LOL - but I'd advise taking English above Photography or Media Journalism. Most media will only take people with English degrees, not specified media degrees. And photography will hold you down to just one career choice - whereas English opens up so many opportunities.

(psst, but take what you'll enjoy more).

Haha, well i actually need some advice for this actually so thanks haha. I really want to work in magazines and was told the course i need to take would be media journalism, but my english teacher has advised me to take English. Photography was just there because i really enjoy it but i know i could always do that on the side if i really wanted to. Part of my reasons for taking English and Photography in college was to see which one i preffered :P
Thanks Lauren

Aye go for it, I did the same. I only got accepted at one of them, I decided to only apply at uni based Drama Schools as I needed the funding from student loans, if you go to a private drama school you have to look towards businesses to fund you. Ł30,000 a year. You can only apply to 5 uni/drama schools but you can apply to as many privates as you want.

One of two routes.

Route 1:
Complete A levels (Music, Graphics & Art)
Study Commercial Music at Bath Spa, staying on for a third year for Songwriting.
See where it takes me.

Route 2:
Finish A levels (Music, Graphics & Art)
Get a job in a bar.

We have to!

By the way there's a cool theatre thing in Lancaster you've probably heard of. They do outside moving plays in this huge park thing and they're part of that free theatre scheme. It's obviously not far from UCLan.

That sounds cool, do you mean a promenade show? I went to UCLan's theatre when I went for my audition, its like a big church with all the bench's taken out and that was a promenade show, my first ever one. Preston must like that kind of theatre :P

And I am mega excited for the Fom + Lauren nights out, Tom is going UCLan as well apparently, lets not introduce him to our nights out

All I've decided (And started to organise) is in a few years when I leave school that I'm going to take a break year in Crete and stay with my grandparents and probably get a job in a bar. Theres a big demand for people who can speak English/Greek over there as there are so many new bars and clubs opening.
