First Christopher Eccleston, now Billie Piper will be leaving the show.

Billie Piper is reportedly set to quit Dr Who.

According to sources, Billie's spokesman has confirmed to the next issue of Dreamwatch magazine that she will appear in only a few episodes in the second series.

Christopher Eccleston announced he was quitting as Dr Who in March reports the Mirror.

A source said: "It would appear that Billie has already made up her mind that she is leaving. She is a great actress but she does not want to become typecast."

*Sigh* I think she's a great actress too, and Rose depicts today's girl, independent and feisty.

What is it with a lot of actors today? I appreciate that they might have itchy feet and want to try lots of different roles - but they don't realise that Doctor Who is a NATIONAL INSTITUTION and a lot of other actors would give their right arm to be in it for years! I know that David Tennant wants to stay in the role for years, he was quoted in the last issue of Dreamwatch that he'd love to stay as long as he could! Thank goodness for that, because I think he's an excellent choice for the 10th Doctor.

What is truely scary is how the BBFC gave the DVD set a 12 rating because the Dr was nasty to a Darlek

Darleks are not evil

They are misunderstood and just have an equally valid different world view.

Dr Who has been great through out,way above my expectations.It has even managed to latch onto the BB theme in the last week.Will miss it while its off the air,last one morro.Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
