How about half-hour highlights? Or just 1 show a week like Shipwrecked?

The more the better. The housemates are in there 24/7 (we hope) and the cameras are running 24/7.
Personally I'll be unaffected because I only ever watch the highlights (like 90% of viewers) and night time live feed so I don't care if its not on during the day or not. It was the USP back in 2000 but in this day and age the novelty has long worn off. I can guarantee if it doesn't have that much of an impact, BB's around the world will follow suit. Other reality shows have had a live feed which has now been axed and that hasn't impacted the show, in fact ratings went up.

There are two arguments about them having less on this year. One is that Channel 4 are done with the show. Another suggestion is that they're streamlining it because it has been literally everywhere for the past 10 years and overkill isn't a good thing. More people might be inclined to watch it if it isn't everywhere.

I think it might be because of E4's line-up. I mean, its got to be hard to fit in the live feed, but I think it should be on red button 24/7.

You'll have a hard time convincing the live feeders to be optimistic!

In football terms: C4 effectively cancelled their season tickets and all they have now is Match of the Day highlights which only show the goals scored by their man of the match.

The people who complain about live feed and "protest" its departure and the ones destroying the show. These "true fans" somehow think that by not watching they're getting something done. First, C4 cares less about your antics and second, by not watching the "true fans" are killing off their supposedly favourite show.

To be fair to C4, it is such a small minority of viewers that watch LF. most people just flick the highlights on (sometimes for nothing better to watch) and that is where some viewers come from. Yeah, LF was popular, but i think such a small proportion of highlights viewers watched it that on the surface seemed pointless, but i dont know if they considered if there are LF viewers who DONT watch highlights...?

channel 4 reply to news of the world, " no plan re enstate live feed", look at online notw, even philippine bb have live feed, they also have teenage version of show, bookies not happy about no live feed, think will watch show but not vote,,,,,,,, maybe if people not vote ,make them rethink, after all channel 4 want us to interact with show, yet refuse to listen and interact with fans,, they telling daily mirror that bb is public service, there words, remember united we stand, divided we fall.

I like having the live feed on the background sometimes.. you know when you're just doing random s*** around the house on the weekend. Plus I understand the thing about Big Brother can now edit housemates whichever way they want and no one will ever be able to see the real people. However, I'm not wetting my pants over this - it's the evening shows that I follow and love.

Big Brother is not Big Brother without the LiveFeed, the highly editted Higlights are not a true portray of the Housemates or events. This is channel fours way of manipulating the show as much as possible, and not having any repecutions in return.

No one will be on these forums discussing theshow during the days because we'll have no LF coverage showing us the latest events.

Unless they bring back the LF I predict this BB will be the least watched show of the 10 by far.
