I think it's fine for 8 year olds to watch it, I remember watching it at that age, I wasn't fazed by the nudity or swearing, I'd seen it all before anywhere. Tbh it is everywhere these days BB isn't really the worst of it.

In all fairness.... I wasn't looking for an argument, although judging your comments in a lot of the discussions it seems that you are
But you opened the thread, I am assuming, to discuss or argue your point about this in some way right? An I am just saying the Big Brother audience is mostly teennagers and upwards. Channel 4 would not even consider kids when discussing schedueling of the show!

Dont think I hate you or anything crazy like that .

Thank you, I'm going to let them watch that one instead, think I might watch that one too... I think it will be better without all the swearing, mind you if they cut all that out it might cut the show down to only half an hour lol

Ireland aren't part of the UK, so I guess it's not a hugee deal that they can't vote for BBUK, whether or not it's aired over there. Dunno, I guess it's debateable.

You just defeated your own argument. It is aired over here. We share the same Big Brother culture. It is a huge deal over here the same as in Britain. The Welsh & Scottish can vote, I am assuming. Really, it is just lazy on the part of Channel 4 which is my beef. If Noirin got to the final with an Irish vote in place, they would get massive support from over here like Brian did in series 2. Now we just have to sit back and watch.

Now see, that's something definitely worth debating - arguing - discussing. Ireland should definitely be able to vote, I'm with you on that one

Here you go Stu... evertime I or anyone equaly as sensitive as me accuses you of arguing you could just post this for us, I completely get your use of the word argumentmeaning discussion now lol
Argument
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Logical argument)

This article is about the word as it is used in logic. For other uses, see Argument (disambiguation).
In logic, an argument is a set of one or more meaningful declarative sentences (or "propositions") known as the premises along with another meaningful declarative sentence (or "proposition") known as the conclusion. A deductive argument asserts that the truth of the conclusion is a logical consequence of the premises; an inductive argument asserts that the truth of the conclusion is supported by the premises. Deductive arguments are valid or invalid, and sound or not sound. An argument is valid if and only if the truth of the conclusion is a logical consequence of the premises and (consequently) its corresponding conditional is a necessary truth. A sound argument is a valid argument with true premises.

Not really. You mean to say you'd just vote for Noirin cos she's from the same place as you? It's not like any other candidates are getting that so why should she.

The English don't vote for the English cos they're English and the foreigners don't get votes from their countries so I don't see the big deal with Noirin.

However of course not all Irish will vote Noirin

They shouldn't be watching the show anyway, it's an adult show always has been. It was on at 11 for BB1.

A show with sex and swearing isn't aimed at 8 year olds.

And I thought my parents were irresponsible .

I was 10 going on 11 during the first Big Brother and I only started watching it then because I had a computer to watch live streaming on and a portable in my room to watch till I fell asleep.

I hope your situation was similar, I'd hate to think your folks were permitting you to watch Jade give a drunken blowjob at the age of 9 .

I didn't. I just read the first two or three posts. Was the OP being sarcastic? If so, shouldn't someone tell them it doesn't work on the web .

EDIT - Ah. Just read. How can your kids enjoy the daytime feed OP? It was non-stop bird noises most of the time and the housemates going about choirs. Enjoyable if your mature enough to understand why it's like that, have patience and are a big enough fan to sit through the bird noises, but surely a bit dull if your 8? I have trouble getting my neice to sit through it when I baby sit and she's not much older.

No, your wrong my the mere fact that their is no reasoning. Their WAS lines before, but not now.

Also ILoveFreddie, ALL winners have recieved HUGE block votes in the past from their friends, family and town.

Yeah, I spose. But that's towns, and for example, Scottish people usually get lots of Scottish votes just cos they're Scottish, annoys me a bit.

But yeah I agree that it's unfair there's no lines for Ireland.

It really is a shame, because Noirin is the first Irish person I've liked in years!
