I like many many others am upset about the lack of live feed but this is just sick no true fan would stoop that low.

Head of Channel 4 Andy Duncan has received a death threat directed at his daughter over the axing of the Big Brother live feed, it has been claimed.

According to The Sun, police have launched an investigation into the incident after Duncan received an anonymous email.

The mail, which was also sent to two other staff members and the programme's generic address, reportedly read: "Bring back the live feed or I'll kill your daughter."

An insider told the paper: "Everyone is very spooked by the email. It was a horrible thing to send. We're hoping the reference to killing a 'daughter' was just added for dramatic effect.

"Andy Duncan does have daughters so it's horrendous to think whoever sent it might know this."

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: "Members of staff received a written threat from a member of the public. We have taken this threat seriously and the matter has been referred to the police."
