Didn't you read my posts about it ? I just said what is written about 'homosexuals aren't natural' in the Bible I don't agree with. I'm straight and I'm not homophobic so don't dare you calling me homophobic when you get no evidence. Just read my posts for once.

I know I'm a part Christian but I'm still one. What is being written in the Bible should be interpreted differently through the time because values and morals change.
It still is a Church tho because it has such an influence on people's life, it's an institution. And we don't all believe in the same way.

You hit the nail on the head, values and morals change. But according to the Bible, it is the perfect moral code, as outlined by God. Obviously things have changed and people are starting to see the Bible for what it is.

Like I said, read my posts and you'll understand. I've just told Stu that I have made my mind about it by reading the Bible, I've been to a Catholic school and I'm living my life to the foolest: I drink, I smoke, I didn't wait until marriage to have sex and I don't go to the church every sunday morning. This is how I made my mind, by thinking about what the world is all about and where my heart is. I'm nowhere confused.

There are multiple ways of being a Christian: the extremists, the free-believers (like me), the strict ones etc.... We believe in the same values (theoretically) but we don't express it the same way. But you're still a Christian, get it ?

I agree with your opinion on the Pope. I was terribly disappointed when I knew who he was, an old conservative narrow-minded man who doesn't believe in technology and want us to go back to the Middle Age. John Paul II was unanimously loved for being open-minded, nice and comprehensive of what our time is all about.

I must say though, Pope John Paul II was no saint either. He was the one who appointed Benedict as his so called enforcer. He simply had a friendly face. He spent much of his career lambasting contraception, too!
