I'm more anxious than anything, would love to see it beat CBB8 but that odd last minute drop off before the final, which thankfully it recovered from the for the final night itself, might just stop it. Wonder how big a timeshift we'll see for the final and final highlights?

Why do people care? I've never understood the ratings fascination about shows, or sales for cd's.

I'm a bit of a snob, so anything I listen to or watch, I don't want everyone in the country doing the same thing.

Finding an unknown artist that writes pure and amazing music will trump being one of every 3 people on the planet to own a Rhianna or Gaga album (which I don't to either).

It's more just intriguing for me, I like knowing how a series has done in comparison with others

That has always been the most selfish and ridiculous fan attitude, to not want something you love to be popular, just so you can think yourself superior.

I think most care because the ratings depend on the shows future. Flop ratings = axed.

It's worth pointing out that CBB8's average was boosted by a curiosity inflated launch figure of 5.27m, 1.66m higher than CBB11's. Not including launches, CBB11 actually beat CBB8 by 70,000 (2.77m to 2.70m)

Brilliant ratings. So those last week ratings, had 3 episodes over 3m!!

Monday- 3.11m
Tuesday- 3.03m
Wednesday- 2.54m
Thursday- 2.57m
Friday- 3.61m

Official average- 2.81m.

What's interesting is that the last Monday in both CBB9 and CBB11 both got 3.11m and were both the highest rated non launch and final. That Monday of CBB9 was Pantsgate, the Monday in CBB11 was I think the Letter episode? Quite cool.

No episode of CBB11 went under 2.3m officially.

As said above, brilliant rating, to go from being just behind CBB9 in the overnights to technically beat CBB9 and CBB8 in the officials is, considering the much less riveting line up and almost non-existent pre-series advertising campaign, fantastic. CBB's going nowhere. Now let's just hope BB holds up or improves in the summer.

UK TV Ratings ‏@TVRatingsUK

Dallas fell for the second episode of series two with just 652k (2.8%) watching at 9pm last night on C5, compared to 741k last week.

Not always, some things do great for them, but those that flop do put BB's ratings (celebrity and normal) into perspective.
