Bridge Over Troubled Water worries me a bit as Leona and Rhydian fans wouldn't take too kindly to Luke performing it, especially if he did it well.

But if Luke is at the semis I want his two songs to be Pompeii by Bastille, and Mr Writer by Stereophonics (I've been saying this song choice since week 3) I think they'd be awesome.

It's a Simon and Garfunkel song and he's dedicating it to his mum. Could be amazing if he connects with the lyrics.

I'm glad Luke didn't get Bridge over troubled water. That song is way too old for him. At least Skinny Love is fairly current. And i LOVE his Hero song!

Interesting that Luke picked Skinny Love as his winner's single. It's clearly a song that means a lot to him and is comfortable singing.

Im probably the only person in the world who doesnt know the song Luke has just sang but he is very original. He deserves to go very far regardless of wherehe comes in the competiton x

I knew the mumford and son one i dont like mumford but Luke is fab, i loved him disco week then went off him a bit but now i love him again

I'm worried about Syco getting their hands on him as well Vanessa, but tbf they have never had a Rock winner before so I think it should be tested to see if an XF Rocker can sell Music if they won.

If he gets through to next week he says he'll have to choose between an Elton John and a Beyonce' song. I think Beyonce is better. Elton John songs are too dated for a young boy like him.
