Britney actually wrote the music to "Everytime" on her piano at home and collaborated with a producer to write the lyrics.

Brit is credited as writing alot of her material these are my faves... Her voice is so unique i love it.

She at least first version of most if not all of those songs herself. Of course if the songs are tweaked than those who participated in that process are going to have their names tagged on as 'co writers'.

every bloody artist supposedly "co-writes" their songs these days.

Usually means they come up with a line or two. Meanwhile a professional writer and producer does all the hard work. In truth its just a way for artists to claim royalties on songs. Kinda like when actors have a cut of movie profits added to their contract.

True. At the end of the day we will never truthfully know how much Gaga, Britney and whoever contributed in writing their songs
