I can't understand where the bookmakers' support for Mikey comes from given that he has about 9% and is in fourth in the favourite poll. Unless they think the votes for the others is going to be split or something.

Because he's blind. People who don't watch much might tune in, think "oo, he's blind" and vote. That's the bookie's assumption and it could well be a correct one.

I like Michael & on launch night he was my least favourite because I thought he'd win because of his disability...
