I'm not even necessarily saying this mockingly - like, I get it... I get hating your (our) own country's politics and wanting to defect elsewhere but you can't just pretend that another nation's leader is your "real" head of state and be happy and comfortable with that. If you're lucky enough to have the means & permission to move out there (it's usually not very easy unless you're a high-earner or a healthcare professional or something like that) then if another country appeals more, move there.

Sitting here in the UK saying "I'm done with UK politics I'll just hitch a ride on US politics from my home, here, in the UK" is living in a fantasy world. You don't live there... you're not a US citizen... a Trump win might be what you want for them and you can have an opinion on what's best for global politics but... he still isn't your president and cannot be. It's only just dawned on me that this might actually be a disappointing concept for some people.

Not running for reelection would be a clear admission that President Trump was right all
along about Biden not being mentally fit enough to serve as Commander-in-Chief.

People in europe don't really understand the way the american system works. Here we have a cabinet, any member could step up and take responsibility if necessary. In America, only the president has legal authority. The VP can't just step in as a deputy.

The reason i say that, is that people say Biden is surrounded by competent people, but ultimate authority rests with a guy that says he needs his bed after 8pm. I don't think he should be in the job now either, but they won't invoke the 25th amendment, its too difficult, so he will be there until January at a minimum

He is very likely to go if reelected so a Harris presidency is virtually guaranteed. The only reason the Republicans aren't making a bigger deal out of it is that Trump is no spring chicken either. It could be just as easily his VP within 4 years.

Does anyone really think Biden will survive another 4 years? I just saw a video where it appeared he mistook another blonde for his wife. His actual wife asked him to come with her the other direction and he followed the blonde as she awkwardly tried to walk off after overhearing the conversation. Even if it weren't a mix up between the women, clearly his behavior is muddled and confused if he can't even follow basic instructions like which direction to go off stage, etc.
