Hundreds of positive cases have been confirmed at scottish universities so we will definitely have hundreds here too! We are in local lockdown as well which shows how severe it is here. 15 people in the hospital 10 mins from here all have covid.

Im wearing gloves a mask and a visor. Still worried its not enough!

It's what they call "freshers flu" (not an actual flu but an observation that tonnes of students get ill at the beginning of term). Combination of large numbers of people from different locations all coming together, and lowered immune systems from drinking too much and not eating well.

every school is like a heaven for bacteria in general, especially if u don't open windows too often

Yep your right. I can tell you that the first week in october without fail I always catch the freshers flu. Im dreading this years. Lasts for about 2 weeks of cough and runny nose!!

Was in there today just to do a normal shop. No restrictions regarding rationing had happened yet but it was busy and I did see quite a few ladies coming out of the shop with bulk toilet roll at which point i said to my wife quite loudly near them theu do realise there is a toilet roll making factory 5 minutes from here, we arent gonna run out!!

But the flour ailes looked pretty empty!
