the biggest non lethal effect of the pandemic will be on long term mental health. Most of the worlds population has had a pretty nasty shock which will among many other things, make people re-think their priorities. We won't be the same again

Netherlands: due to a power outage in Nieuwegein last night 1.200 Janssen vaccine doses were handed out to staff workers and other people whom were interested in getting vaccine, some of which earlier than their intended jab date

Netherlands: week recap numbers
last week 14.397 tested positive for corona, 30% less than the week before of all tests only 7.2% was positive, compared to 9.0% the week before last week the number of new covid patients dropped with 32% to total of 380, the number of new ICU patients even dropped with 57% to total of 50 as of today total hospitalisations: 937 total ICU Patients: 321 the last calculated R-number at May 24th, at 0.90 (bit more than week before 0.82) but still below the critical line of 1.00

Germany and some areas of Italy into Yellow
from orange to yellow since the corona situation has improved so much they aren't seen as high risk areas the only places of Italy which remains orange are in the south and that will remain that way for a longer time it is uncertain if Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain will change from orange to yellow

In Greater Manchester
