There's alot of talented UK guys. They just haven't blown like the marketed guys OR they sold out to become average ala Wiley and Dizzee.

Hip hop, though? There may be "good" grime rappers, but Plan B's the only UK hip hop artist I've been impressed by.

If you listen to the right U.K guys, it won't be long until you realise that some of them are lyrically better than probably 85% of the U.S guys people listen to.

I listened to the first 2ish minutes of each, and was only impressed by the second Black The Ripper video (which was pretty good). And it doesn't matter how lyrical you are if it doesn't sound good. British accents rarely go well with rap, and the beats UK rappers generally go for are more grime than hip hop.

I probably prefer UK to US tbh. I dunno if that is because I can relate to them more due to them being English or if it is because most U.S hip hop is all the same these days. For me..
