![]() I just find it odd as last August Bojo couldn't wait for people to get back to the office, I think it is a red herring myself

My company would never, of course, because we have all sorts of little badges and logos at the bottom of our emails to prove that we're super-nice and ethical and whatnot. Working from home would indeed always have been an option but it'sbeen changed more so that you don't even need to give any reasoning at all, you can just decide "nah" and log in from home, whenever. It would actually save the company quite a bit of money to go fully online and not keep physical office spaces at all, we really don't NEED them, but have found that people do want the option and like to be there in person to varying degrees. A few people still go in as often as is permitted by whatever-current-covid-says and I imagine will be in the office most of the time if things ever return to any sort of normality ![]() Personally if childcare wasn't a factor and it was purely my choice, I'd probably go in 1 or 2 days a week. I might start going in for half-days next year when the older one starts high school, as they'll both be out earlier so I can get there for 9 then just take my lunch hour at like 2 and come home. I'd probably be less inclined to sit here tapping on TiBB if there were other people around ![]() |

![]() [Holidays in Europe could be back ON for double-jabbed Brits: Minister Jesse Norman confirms the Government IS looking at allowing fully vaccinated travellers to skip quarantine after visiting amber list countries Ministers are reportedly looking at new rules which will allow quarantine-free travel from amber-list countries Currently, those who travel back from amber list countries, such as Greece, have to self-isolate on their return But, according to the Telegraph, under a new system double-jabbed Britons will no longer have to self-isolate It comes as US chief medical advisor says Britons might be able to travel more freely to US by end of summer Dr Anthony Fauci claimed Britain could find itself in a 'very favourable position' thanks to the June 21 delay] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rantining.html Last edited by arista; 17-06-2021 at 12:49 PM. |

also it shouldn't become a compulsory like they in Russia want to do now for bosses to order employees to vaccinate i myself really don't want it, but i'll happily stick to distancing rules if i go out (on holiday for example) as for Delta variant, idk why this one is more ''dangerous'' since symptoms are like a regular cold from what i read, i thought SA variant was more dangerous symptoms wise, stomach pains etc ![]()

Netherlands: Caribbean island Sint-Maarten will still receive 19 million euro of corona aidpackage
twice was denied by our parliament Sint-Maarten are independent within the kingdom, it first did not receive the support because the island had filed a complaint against Netherlands for racism at the UN because of their failing government issues because they handled the case quite well now, it is very likely they will receive support now after all

It was more for young people who want to travel I was referring to I dont think it has been suggested Delta is more dangerous just more transmissible and they thought it might evade the vaccine but doesn't look like that is the case

yes, thats more of a significant increase in deaths, but without the vaccination program we would probably be up to 1000 a day
