That Debate Pence Vs Harris
was not very good in the USA.

I recorded it.

He said stuff on Biden
She said its not true?

The speaker older lady was weak.
Never pressed them hard enough.

On Covid, it was brief.

you think Johnson is too slow, our Rutte is even slower, and more lacklustre (failing to listen to a public survey on mask requirement what majority wants, but he still says we need to wait what the effects of the current measures will be in 2 weeks from now)

i'd say PVDA (Labour) or CDA (Christian-democrats) have a good chance the next election

leader for CDA too is our current health minister whom i personally find doing good work in making deals for multiple sorts of vaccines, so we can test which vaccine is better

our Labour's Asscher is doing good work in trying to keep morale up with the people, trying to get health care workers to get those extra bonusses they deserve for hard work

the far right like Wilders, Baudet they are more creating drama within parliament rather than coming up with solutions or advice to help us out of this coronacrisis

Nottingham has the highest Covid-19 infection rate in the UK, according to the latest data.

Public Health England figures show that 689.1 per 100,000 people tested positive for the virus in the city over the past week.

New social distancing rules for Nottinghamshire are due to be announced on Monday, according to documents leaked earlier today.

Local politicians have criticised the delay in imposing restrictions.

...is it also that some people and younger people/students etc would have always been tested as positive through whatever amount of time/and been asymptomatic ...which is what has always been thought, anyway...and it’s not so much the phases of everything ‘going back’ ...but more that the testing is being done...which was such a slow start...but now..?...

THhe only comparisons with the first wave should be hospital admissions, those on ventilators and the R number, numbers testing positive means nothing as there are no comparable testing figures from April

So the fullest consensus and what likely can or will work where.
Gets implemented.

Because, most people I've briefly talked to, usually from across the street when I'm out.
The growing view is, they are feeling things are going the same way almost as was the case in March.

As if although there's been a fair amount learned about this virus, enough hasn't been, hence the complicated at times communication and instructions from government.

To be fair, we hear from the government it's an unprecedented crisis the government has to deal with.
That can easily be understood.
However they DON'T have to deal with it alone.

They could involve all parties and local groupings too, who know areas and the people in them.
Make everything,a concensus PARLIAMENTARY not just government set of communications and instructions.
Which have all been set out with local area politicians and organisations.

This reactive, procrastinating and dismissive attitude from government is not now having effect.
There is a trust issue with this government now via mixed messaging.

It needs a national response of all inclusive consultation and properly listening to all others.

In wartime, we had national coalition government.
Really on dealing with this crisis issue, that's what we need in place too.
For a period of dealing with it and its effects.
In my view anyway.

You and I seem to have disagreed on this issue bots.
That's maybe from a different emphasis on the virus from our own perspectives.

I still however have felt overall you've made strong points.
This is another you make here.
I agree.
