It won't be on TV. It's just been released on DVD.

Peter: What in the morning?
Blanche: No 6:00 AM at night!
Deirdre: So she's managed to talk me into going staying the night at hers!
Blanche: She does that does Nancy.
Deirdre: Does she? (in a puff of smoke)
Blanche: Oh yes, renound for it. She'll be pulling that old, I'm-scared-of-sleeping-on-my-own-can-I-hop-in-with-you trick, you watch...
Ken: Nancy's not like that, is she?
Deirdre: She can't be, she's an arkala!
Peter: Well sooner you than me, unless she looks like Tyra Banks, then you count me in, you know....
Deirdre: My life just gets better!
Ken: Look I could give you a lift over in the morning.
Deirdre: What and get to Werneth by 5:30 AM?!
Ken: Oh yeah right....look, I'm sure Nancy's a lovely woman.
Blanche: She's got a cat called Navratilova, hope you're not allergic...
Deirdre: Oh shut up mother! I happen to know that Nancy lost her husband last year and his name was Phil.
Blanche: Not just short for Phillip though, is it Deirdre...
Wasn't that just the best scene ever!

LMAO

Deirdre's my favourite character at the moment and she really shone in that episode. It was the best episode in a long time imo. I laughed so much at it!

And I did!

"And as for Mrs Goggins, she'll be cowering behind three inch glass with a baseball bat under the counter, assuming, that her Post Office hasn't been shut down of course"

*Simon's bemused expression throughout!*

Those clever Corrie writers have really been indulging in Blanche's cynicism recently!

Corrie bosses have investigated claims that a cross was hidden during the filming of Molly and Tyrone’s wedding.

They've concluded that there was a misunderstanding about the reasons for wanting to move the cross.

A Coronation Street spokesman explains here:

"Contrary to claims that the programme’s producers wanted the cross moving as they were worried its inclusion would offend people, what actually happened was that they wanted to move the cross so that it was not hidden.

"A member of crew knew that they were dressing the set with candles and flowers and knew this would obstruct the view of the cross. A member of church staff was asked if the cross could be moved.

"When she asked why they wanted it moving, she was told that Coronation Street didn’t want to cause offence to anyone when the scenes were shown.

"It now transpires that she took this to mean that production felt people would be offended by seeing the cross – when in fact they were concerned that the props were blocking the view of the cross.

"In fact during the Wednesday episode of Coronation Street a shot of the cross was seen."

The spokesperson continued: “We have now made this clear to the Reverend Milnes who is going to explain this to his parishioners and we apologise for this misunderstanding.”

Lol they didnt, they thought people would be offended if the cross was hidden, but someone got mixed up and thought the cross being shown would mean people being offended
