The performance opens on a stage designed to replicate a subway station of New York. Two trains on the left and right of the stage are marked 'Banned' and 'OK for Now'. The 'Banned' train is crammed with pale, sweaty folk with their faces against the window. Inside the other train, a little Japanese boy is dancing to the latest 'Perfume' hit, with acres of room.
