Big Brother had told the house to split into pairs, and after doing so, delivered babies to the house in which the housemates would care for during the week. Thomas and Kate quickly went to the diary room, at which time the feed was switched off.

The official site had reported the start of the task, but while the live feeds were off (over an hour), all mention of the task was removed from the site. When live feeds finally resumed, Kate was seen being consoled by Hayley and Rebecca, and could be heard saying ‘It would have been 18 months.’

Did Kate have a miscariagge or something?
Maybe the memories were too raw.

It could explain her behaviours about the task, poor Kate.

As much as I hate her I do feel sorry for her.
If they had have shown her breaking down it might have saved her from eviction.

The White Room ended tonight and the results are in:

-Cruz finished 4th because last sunday he accepted 750$ in order to leave.
-Kara was eliminated tonight, she finishes 3rd, we don't know how she was evicted (they don't precise it on the website).
It stays 2 wildcards: Harrison and Demet.
The main housemates have to choose, except Billy, which one of the 2 wildcards they want in the Big Brother house.
-Finally Demet has been chosen by the housemates therefore Harrison goes home.
Demet is now, a normal housemate.

I felt really sorry for Kate tonight.
She was saying how the baby had affected her weight and how she wasn't skinny like 'other girls'. I have a feeling she won't go on Sunday now.
Does anyone think she could be playing one helluva very succesful game?
________

I felt like crying when Kara didn't get in but I'm happy Demet did. It's funny how she always says 'man' at the end of every sentence.

I think Kate is a great game player, ok her story is tragic and really sad but she's not obligated to use this story in order to stay on sunday night, it's pathetic, she hasn't any dignity really.
Kara deserved to go in so much, she was amazing, Demet is funny but I think she will be like Susannah....boooring !

It is a bit ridiculous. She is making this in to a huge deal. The birth was over a year ago surely she can deliver a 'fake' baby for a task.
I wonder who Demet will fit in with. The cools or the geeks?
I've forgotten Snozzanah, Zzzzoran and Joel are even on the show.

I cant believe you guys, Saying that sh is using this to stay in the house!!??! Thats an awful thing to say. Losing a baby is such a awful thing and i would not wish it on any mother or father. It was a year ago, but its not something you can really forget and get over that quickly. The task obviously brought back memories for Kate.

As much as I love her Hayley is dead boring now.
Then again she was the centre of everything last week so I spose she needs time to chill.
As much as I hate Kate I want Jamie out now!

Do you reckon Kate will still go?
I saw a different side to her yesterday and my hate is getting slighter but I will be happy as long as Bodie doesn't go.

It finally worked. It was Japanese night and Haley won. She chose Andrew to join her in the rewards room. Inside of the boxes were white room slop, a scooter, and a vacation to a hotel chain in Australia. At the end of the show they said that next the Golden House mate would move in, so it looks like that is the point of the Wednesday night special.

Default Big Brother says sorry to Kate

Quote:
BIG Brother has gone into damage control and yesterday issued an apology after it was revealed producers knew Kate Gladman had lost a baby.

The Geelong woman told housemates on Wednesday night she had lost a baby to pre-eclampsia at 30 weeks pregnant after she refused to complete a task to care for toy babies.

Big Brother cancelled the task after an emotional Kate wanted to leave the house.

Kate's mother, Annette Gladman told the Geelong Advertiser on Thursday she was disgusted Big Brother knew her daughter had lost a baby and still set the task.

She also demanded the show's producers donate money to pre-eclampsia which causes high blood pressure and affects both the mother and unborn child.

Yesterday, producers of the show issued a statement published on a News Ltd website saying the challenge was not a deliberate ploy to cause Kate distress.

``We want to make it clear that there was never any deliberate intention on our part to cause Kate distress by introducing the computerised baby task into the house,'' the statement said.

``However we realised we should have appreciated her situation better and we are sorry that this has caused Kate to become upset.

``Kate has already received professional help on this matter and we will continue to provide her with whatever support she requires.''

The qualified lawyer yesterday told Big Brother in a diary entry she felt empowered and liberated after telling housemates she had lost a baby.

``Deciding to tell the house about losing my baby was incredibly difficult, because it is such an intensely personal story and talking about it takes a lot of emotional energy,'' she said.

``Knowing that the outside world was watching only made it harder; there are friends I have met recently who do not know this about me, and I feared they would be hurt.''

Kate also told Big Brother she had struggled to cope with keeping the loss of her baby a secret from housemates.

``I felt as if I was falling into a black hole because I couldn't be totally open with anyone and I had absolutely no one to turn to,'' she said.

``I was stuck in a house with a bunch of really, really ridiculously good looking people and I thought I was in hell.''

Kate said revealing her loss to housemates had changed their image of her and had enabled her to become a stronger person.

She also detailed plans of raising awareness of pre-eclampsia when she leaves the Big Brother house and helping other women cope with losing a child.

I watched yesterday's daily show but not FNL. Bodie was mean with Hayley, she didn't deserve that.
I think when the housemates will discover Emma's power, they will nominate her, it's sad because she was boring at the beginning and now she's a great housemate.

I missed the daily show
Would you mind giving me a recap, Sunshine?
As for Emma I doubt she'll be up she only got 4 votes remember and with Kate gone (who nominated her for 2 points) things will be different.
I think Jamie, Zoran and Bodie will be nominated.

The show was basically 'The Bodie show - featuring TJ & Hayley'. bodie said to Hayley "I'd probably get along with you better if you weren't playing the game". Hayley took it badly and was crying and was rambling on about how much of a prick bodie is and she said something about him only being with TJ to stay in the house. Emma was also in it for a second bitching (As Usual) but about Susannah this time.

I think Emma will be nominated this week because even though Kate's gona she is isolating herself from the group more and more. I think Bodie, Emma, TJ & Rebecca all might be nominated - Maybe not Rebecca.

According to BBA there were a lot of fireworks. The people there now no longer like Haley and Andrew. It appears as if TJ called Billy a sheep and that only girls have long hair. I just looked through the forums, so I am going to look through to find out more.
