it's pretty sad that politics is coming into it more and more because that dilutes the message on following the restrictions more than anything else

Will it be 67% of ‘take home pay’ of normal pay before tax and NI taken out ?

Other than Liverpool.
What else was done yesterday rather than just be stressed again.

If the science, which this PM and his Cabinet have his behind all the time, saying they have followed the science.
Since it's clear they went against the science weeks ago, with the revelations today.

Where does that leave things now.
Are they following the science or not on this massive dangerous health issue.

More and more, all I hear people say is it feels as worrying as in March.
Yet we get this tinkering with things and 3 tier tripe.
You've either a crisis or you haven't.
If you haven't, prepare properly and efficiently in case you do get one.

When you are in one, don't pussyfoot about, do EVERYTHING that is deemed necessary to get out of it.

This doing this bit here, this bit there, while not addressing everywhere.
Just fuels confusion and adds to genuine fears.

From all sides, it's time for those elected to represent and particularly those in actual power, to be all inclusive, properly plan and consult on dealing with this.
Stop talking so much, listen more.
Then do ALL the right things, not some or just even bits.

They have all the data and information in front of them.
They know what's happening and the forecasts of what could and is more likely to.

This is too big a task for just the government.
Because one problem I'm hearing about is people in growing numbers have now no trust in what the government dictates.

In this pandemic, as much as I dislike this PM and his government.
That saddens me, because at this time what was needed was full trust in the government, trust earned by the government.
However, they've allowed that trust to be lost.
Therein lies even greater problems then to come.

So all the businesses having to close in olaces like aliverpool for who knows how long just to be given 3000 is worrying! I wouldnt have thought that would be enough to cover all overheads, employee wages etc?

I’m wondering why these huge ‘health based’ decisions are taken by the government in the first place .

Why isn’t there a panel of scientists and doctors in charge of the health leaving the economy to the government .

It’s a bit like Question Time each week where the scientist/doctors / entrepreneurs as speak sensibly but the politicians simply avoid the issues

look at germany's daily numbers, they are decreasing, first they were at over 5.000 cases, but now at 2.000 new cases yesterday

Heard last night of yet another case ( the 5th) where someone has contracted the virus for a second time and this time it’s far worse needing far more serious treatment.

That concerns me ...

Furthermore.
The graphs showing those between 65 to 84 along with those over 85 being the rising number of hospital admissions.

Yet since July, there's been no single proposal of protecting those in those age groups.
Those that want the support and help that is.
Fine if others want to take risks.

More and more of those are now having to head out to pay bills, for shopping, at times using public transport, whether they want to or not, with those much younger who can transmit this virus to them.

This government just seems to adopt a throwaway attitude to those age groups.
That's before we even think about those with other serious health conditions too.
This PM and his government never even mention them now.
Never mind set out to ensure the fullest protection of them, IF they want to have more recognised official protection in place.

i am already dreading our press conference by loser Rutte tonight

they first have a meeting with RIVM's outbreak management team, i already know that **** of a RIVM will say ''no mask requirement necessary'' since they seem to swear at that norwegian investigation what those idiots mention all the time

so many deaths, blood on hands of our RIVM for sure

Boris has always been clear in that he is balancing restrictions against the economic hardship. The science takes no account of the economic hardship so the implemented measures will be different to those recommended by scientists

Take a look at europe and we are following exactly the same measures. Look at the economic assistance offered and it's very much in line with what is being offered across europe.

All this negativity all the time does no good to anyone
