Glamour girl Katie Price is reportedly losing her hair, after bald patches appeared on either side of her head.

A report by the News of the World claimed the number of extensions Price has had applied, as well as numerous bleaches, have finally taken their toll.

She is rumoured to have spent approximately £50,000 on her locks in the last year, which included a significant period of treatment in the US.

Indeed, her spokesman confirmed: 'Katie has lost some hair after an unfortunate situation with a hairdresser in the States.'

Price often uses extensions in a bid to add volume and length to her mane, while over the years she has frequently utilised blonde peroxides.

But she may now be regretting such actions, after the newspaper quoted her as telling friends her hair is 'awful'.

Ofcom’s ruling around Frankie Boyle’s joke about the disabilities of Katie Price’s son Harvey, is expected to be announced this week, with Channel 4 expected to stand by its decision to broadcast the joke.

According to The Times, sources have claimed the broadcaster will defend broadcasting the joke, in which the Scottish comedian said that former glamour model price had married a cage fighter to ward off sexual advances from her son, who suffers from septo-optic dysplasia.

Comedian Frankie Boyle and Channel 4 have been censured by media regulator Ofcom for broadcasting offensive jokes about Katie Price and her son Harvey.

Ofcom upheld 500 complaints about Boyle's jokes, broadcast in December.

Ofcom said they appeared to "target and mock the mental and physical disabilities" of the eight year-old.

Channel 4 said it had a job to "champion pioneering and distinctive voices in British comedy and bring them to a wider audience".

But the regulator ruled that it was "an erroneous decision on a matter of editorial judgement on the broadcaster's part".

I agree. Some stuff should be off limits when it comes to jokes with some of those so called comedians. If they can't get their laughs without stooping so low, then they are in the wrong job imo. Some of them come across as more bitter in their acts than funny.

Yeah, I've got no argument with jokes about people who put themselves in the public eye, such as the appalling Jordan herself, but their families, particularly their children, deserve no such treatment, certainly not from those who appear to have their own issues that require attention .....

Ofcom said that any "intended satire in the two comments was ... obscured by their straightforward focus on Harvey Price and his disability."

It accepted that Price, Reid and Andre "have consciously exposed their and their children's lives to the media". But it said that this did not justify humour targeted at a child's expense, especially when the child is "as young as eight years old, and has a number of disabilities which are specifically focused on as the target of that intended humour".

The reality TV star was snapped giving the male model a smacker on the lips as she arrived at Ezeiza Airport, Buenos Aires this morning.

Leandro, 25, looked happy to see Katie, 32, even if he was in the middle of a phone conversation as they embraced on her arrival.

And although she is only believed to be there for a week, she was laden down with five suitcases as she jetted out of Heathrow yesterday.

The former (sic) glamour model bitterly regrets having work done on her mouth and says she will never do so again but admitted she got carried away after being encouraged to undergo a procedure by her pals.

She said: “I’ll never have my lips done again! I know I’ve said that before but I won’t do them again. They’re not that bad and I just don’t need it but you know what it’s like when you’re there with your friends and they’re all having it done. It’s like, ‘Go on then. The couple were expected to spend the weekend in Leandro Penna's home town of Despeñaderos 400 miles from the Argentine capital.

But model Leandro, 25, has announced they are postponing the meet with his family and flying back to London together this Friday.

They will return to south America once Kate has dealt with work commitments to meet his former politician dad Hector and hotel owner mum Mercedes.

Leandro said today: 'We have to rush back to London again.

'It's something that came up at the last minute. It's nothing to do with Katie's divorce, it's work-related.

Katie, 32, only arrived in Argentina on Monday morning after a gruelling 13-hour flight from Heathrow.

She was due to stay in south America until next Monday before parting company with her new man, who has been working for an Argentine TV channel.

They are expected to fly back out to Buenos Aires again next week before catching another plane straight to the city of Cordoba near Leandro's home town for the meet with his family.

KATIE Price has cut short her romantic trip to Argentina after a bust-up with ex Peter Andre over their children.

She had intended to continue the holiday with an Easter trip to Leandro’s second home in Miami, Florida, this time taking her youngest children Junior, five, and Princess, three, with her.

But their furious dad Peter Andre scuppered her plans after he found out where she was when he picked the children up from their nanny.

He does not want the children flying off to America to spend time with Leandro, 25, so soon after her split from Alex Reid, 35.

Katie, alias Jordan, and her toyboy will return to the UK tomorrow, four days after arriving in Buenos Aires, in a bid to smooth things over with Peter.

Price, also known as Jordan, enjoyed a meal with new boyfriend Leandro Penna on a table next to the Irish band.

A source told The Sun that Bono and The Edge “kept their distance” from Price but were left upset by “noisy” photographers who had followed her to the restaurant.

Katie Price has reportedly been compared to Argentinian showgirl Silvia Suller while visiting the country with Leandro Penna.

The former glamour model recently spent time in Argentina with Penna but flew back several days early, scrapping plans to meet Penna's parents over the weekend.

According to The Sun, Price has been compared to 53 year old Suller who has tried her hand at a music career, various reality television programmes, appeared in soft porn and become known for her boob jobs.

After less than four days in Argentina, Katie Price jetted home to England this morning with boyfriend Leandro Penna in tow.

Despite plans to spend a week in Buenos Aires with her toyboy boyfriend, the glamour model was clearly missing her children and arrived back in the UK earlier.

Perhaps feeling jet-lagged, the 32-year-old was in no mood to be photographed as she arrived at Heathrow following her 13 hour flight across the Atlantic.

Channel 4 Chief Executive David Abraham has written an open letter to Katie Price declaring that the broadcaster "never set out to offend" after she complained about jokes made by comedian Frankie Boyle regarding her disabled son Harvey.

Earlier this week the media regulator Ofcom ruled that Channel 4 had breached broadcasting guidelines as a result of Boyle's jokes. Following the ruling Price wrote to Mr Abraham telling him he must accept responsibility for the breach and for the offence caused by Boyle.

Mr Abraham replied: "I appreciate the very personal perspective to your letter and I would like to reassure you that we never set out to offend or cause distress to your son. As we made clear in our submission to Ofcom, our detailed internal commissioning process meant that we were satisfied that you and not your son, were the object of the satire."

The sheer arrogance of Abraham is astounding - Harvey's disabilities were offensively used in a televised "joke", regardless of whether the intended object of the so-called "satire" was Pricey, Reidy or Yorkie .....

Glamour model Katie Price has called for the sacking of the Channel 4 boss who allowed the broadcasting of a vile sexual slur by comedian Frankie Boyle about her disabled son Harvey.

The reality TV star, real name Katie Price, has written to Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt claiming that David Abraham’s position is ‘completely untenable’ as chief executive of the official broadcaster for the 2012 Paralympics.

Miss Price’s letter, seen by The Mail on Sunday, asks if Channel 4 would have failed to act if the comments had concerned ‘the colour of Harvey’s skin or his racial background’, adding: ‘Are the disabled less deserving of society’s protection?’

Miss Price, 33, wrote: ‘How can Channel 4 be our Paralympic broadcaster when it discriminates against the disabled? Is Mr Abraham’s position not completely untenable?’

In a second letter, to Mr Abraham, Miss Price wrote: ‘Would you have behaved in the same way if these comments had been made about the Prime Minister’s son Ivan?’ David Cameron’s son, who died in 2009, had cerebral palsy.

The reality TV star, real name Katie Price, called police after photographers allegedly began encroaching at the entrance of her £2million country pile in Dial Post near Horsham, West Sussex.

The 32-year-old convinced them to put up police signs saying “Smile, You’re on CCTV – Making Sussex Safer” to alert the public to her new cameras.

The move comes just a month after traffic officers in Surrey were criticised for providing the model with a police escort as she tried to escape snappers near Cobham.
