I mean fair play to her. They make it clear that you're just as entitled to come on the show and play for money/fame as you are to look for love. I think maybe because she's just so open about it she got backlash for it.

If she had stayed open about it... and not tried to fake a relationship... I think it would could have been a better strategy for her. I loved her until Alex came in. I think you will find that was when her popularity plummeted.

I think her popularity with the public plummeted the episode they showed her bitching about Camilla and saying Camilla's low self esteem/low confidence was exhausting for her but yeah it continued to plummet when she showed absolutely no interest in Alex in the final few weeks.

That was her playing the game too hard. She got into relationship with Alex and then started to target the people/couples she thought might have an edge on her.
Her original strategy of being funny in the diary room... everyone's friend... matchmaker to others.. and, at least pretending, to look for a real relationship ... that was a winning strategy because she was every woman when she was doing that
