You're comparing a keeper who has proved himself to be consistently great for over 5 seasons, broken club records for clean sheets, to someone who's only been in the Premier League for a few months? Of course the latter will get more heavily criticized.

Reina is probably Liverpool's best player, good knows where they'd be right now if they had a keeper like De Gea in goal.. but saying that they'd probably be up there with City if Mcgregor was playing for them

De Gea has improved.. I always thought the criticism of him from the start was too harsh as he has to get used to a new league, style of play and then there is language/communication barrier and getting used to new surroundings..
Reina first struggled when he arrived to England as it is not easy to settle in, but my point is that it his his fault mainly that cost Liverpool the points tonight and that the papers have it in for DDG  .

De Gea has made extremely vital saves when it mattered against Chelsea & Arsenal. Even when he has a great game the media tries blame him for something "Oh his shoelaces are tied the wrong way"
