[Greater Manchester leaders 'told regional lockdown
wouldn't work without widespread closures beyond pubs'
Mayor Andy Burnham has criticised the government's
pushes for harsher restrictions in the
Greater Manchester region,
telling reporters: "We will not be the canaries in the
coal mine for an experimental regional lockdown strategy".
He said regional leaders had been told by the
deputy chief medical officer that for a
postcode lockdown to work,
it would require widespread closures beyond
pubs "to stand any chance of working".
Mr Burnham said they were also told even
if wider closures were implemented,
this would "not be certain to work".
"We are fighting back for fairness
and the health of our people," he added.]

Reports surfacing ( TallSport News) that some Private consultants /track and tracers are being paid Ł7,000 per DAY ...

Surely that can’t be true ???
