Katie Price has pulled out of this year's London Marathon, telling fans she has been advised not to run by doctors.

The 31-year-old only starting training for the gruelling 26-mile race two weeks ago, vowing to raise money for the Vision charity despite a nagging knee injury.

In a message on her website she didn't reveal the exact medical reason for her decision, further fuelling rumours she is in the early stages of pregnancy.

Katie, inspired by her disabled son Harvey, ran last year's marathon (2009) with her then husband Peter Andre in 7 hours and 11 minutes.

She later revealed she had suffered a miscarriage just days before the race.

KATIE Price’s multi-million pound reality show on Sky Living is shedding viewers every week despite a huge advertising campaign.

The star who shot to fame as model Jordan has been plastered over *billboards and TV ads for weeks. The campaign was to plug her show, launched last month, in which cameras zoom in on her life – even her bitter break-up with husband Alex Reid, 35.

But viewing figures for "Katie" have been in steady decline since its first episode. Consolidated viewing figures, which include recordings, show 752,000 for the first episode falling to 600,000, so far, for last week’s third episode.

I know I shouldn't, but I do love reading your thread posts on 'What Katie did next', Omah She is so predictable and it just makes me laugh to read those oh so predictable latest media attention seeking things she does. She is a media trainwreck really, but her antics are so laughable, not with her but at her laughable. She is like a plastic walking Barbie. Her looks are already getting ridiculous with the weird mouth. She is getting no younger and soon her already waning looks will not be enough alone to sustain much interest in her. And all the pies she has her fingers in will not be enough if those projects start to fall by the wayside. Her PR seem to be working overtime at the moment.

The only ones I feel for in all of this are her children, who must miss out a little on not having the stability of a more staple family life, the way they seem to be shoved from pillar to post between her and Peter Andre, and the helps. It's surely about time Katie Price grew up and took more responsibility for her life actions.

If there was no response, no judgment either way - good or bad, for or against her:- interest would wane and she'd eventually fade away.

As long as she illicits some response - whether by way of mocking or criticising her or by fawning and adoring her - she will still stroke interest.

If everyone simply ignored the press she gets, if no one reacted at all...... she'd die away.

This type of thing continues to publicise her and as long as it continues, there is still clearly an interest in her - which has the effect of keeping her in the public eye.

I have to say: I loved the reality shows with her and Peter - mostly due to Peter and his daftness and sense of humour - and I still like his own reality show. Same with Kerry Katona (who really, I don't like but cannot help be drawn).....

when I watch Peter and Kerry's shows: there is a sense of realism - of true parenting with the kids - real warmth comes through. I never feel that's there on anything I've seen with KP and the kids.
