I just saw a pic of Massa's injury. Don't click if you are sqeeumish to some blood

Suprised how much damage has been done to that helmet... looks like that little spring took a chunk straight right out of it. Scary

Yeah it's the sheer force and speed, everything looks psoitive now though so hopefully he's out of danger....

just heard on the news massas life is no longer at risk from his injuries but the spring hitting him has damaged his left eye which is putting his future racing career in jepody

Yeah I think Ferrari have said he's out for the season...

I can't believe he's back. I admire him and the way he drives. But is it too late for a comeback ?

agree with this but they need his "star power".... he'll bring some excitement to a currently dull Ferrari team who really haven't delivered this year. Anyway it's only temporary. Looking forward to it.

i cant see him being back given that he has some serious damage to his left eye even without the skull fractures which would have left him out for the rest of season at least that is bad enough given that they need really good eyesight
