I've replayed the final so many times in my head, I am so gutted, and the fact her interview felt like a winner's interview made it all the more sad. I've never been so emotionally attached to a HM that I can't help but feel bitter even though Luke A is a nice guy, it's just after all she's been through, all the evictions she's survived, all the times she's handled herself with grace & dignity, and all the talking points she's provided us with it seemed only natural that she should be crowned the winner. But it is only a game show, and life's unfair, Conor leaves with 50k but somehow I think the happiness will be short-lived and karma wil bite him hard. And also I really think the Aaron victory last year was a great show of forum power never to be repeated, this series only demonstrates how much of an achievement it was to get someone controversial like him to win.

Anyway I'm gonna stop talking, don't think I'll be watching next year tbh this year really took it out of me & the producers have shown they don't give a **** about us. Night all!

I thought i'd be more upset she didnt win. But im truly content with 3rd. The final 3 was exactly who i wanted in it and that to me was the winning moment. When the outsiders became triumphant over the insiders.


I do have a theory about the one specific moment instigated by BB that lost her the title of winner. It was during the White Room task when BB asked and then revealed to the house (and public) that she had been expelled from school 4 times. It was that exact moment that she lost... I'll explain why.
Until then, the "haters" were just grasping at straws and the general public looking for a reason to dislike her had nothing to go on until BB brought that up.
I remember logging into this board and seeing a thread about it and thinking "this wont be good"... and i was right. Because suddenly on BotS and online, the theory's about why she would have been expelled came into question. That was the first time I saw the anti-deana crew actually had a legitimate reason to question her character.
Then the Luke S. incident happened. Suddenly she was no longer the "innocent" girl in everyone's eyes. Typically that would have gone over as a funny "look at her getting a bit of revenge" moment, but instead everyone started to say, "oh look its the REAL Deana coming out, the bad girl from school was hiding her true colors the whole time".

Big Brother planted one seed and excessively watered it until it blossomed. Had the whole school thing never been in the picture, no one would have questioned her behavior to Luke S. They would have taken it for what it truly was, a bit of banter. Instead people started to read into it, and some on BotS (and here) even went as far as to say she was a "Bully" without knowing all the facts.

I'm not saying that BB intentionally did that, but in my opinion it was that moment that cost her the crown.
