I think the clear difference is that Bayleigh was asking if "the m-word" had any connotations to it, and JC responded by saying a word that he clearly knows has huuuuuge negative and racist connotations.
Winston and JC are bonding over JC going to a few Trump rallies now...

Rule #1: Never Be #2

Excellent point. I'd completely forgotten that we're still living in those dark times. Nothing has changed in centuries. And until her race have got "revenge" and "levelled things up" by enslaving us crackas, the equality we see all around us these days is nothing but imaginary and fictitious..

It's a term of endearment in the black culture context and some people envy that and become tempted to use it. While at the same time it's edgy and some people like that as well. Add freedom of speech to that and it's not hard to see why people might want to use it for whatever their reason may be.
I'm not saying it's right to use but you have to look at things in context as well. The context is totally harmless here but at the same time since it IS a sensitive word, I don't see why he had to say it or couldn't just say "n-word" if that was his argument/comparison of choice Like it wasn't the best approach to go there to begin with in a discussion/argument with a black woman... I definitely get that. Maybe he thought that would make the most impact idk but just saying "n-word" would've been simple enough for him.Same thing if you're repeating the word from a song... totally harmless but since it's a sensitive area, people could easily restrain from using it, or at least in the company of people who could get offended by it.

So next week is about to be boring or a waste yes?
Or maybe it'll be decent enough considering only some know about the power (but most of which think it expires this week) so there's a lot of drama that can still happen... but basically I mean we'll know for sure it'll be all for nothing in the end. I assume whoever's evicted is gonna have an easy way to return. ![]() I hope there's a situation where Bayleigh can waste her power at least though

I guess if there HAS to be a reset week of sorts, this isn't a BAD time for it since they have this 6-5 blowup aftermath, the JC/Bayleigh stuff, and probably some other stuff to cover over the week.
I just hope this doesn't slow down the season because the reset in BB16 felt like SUCH a waste of time and kinda killed the endgame (I know to most people that season was already dead but still lol).

![]() At least that still leaves a possibility of her being evicted and NOT returning
