That's the whole point though, isn't it Cherie? We used to have other active sections. I used to engage plenty in tv/movurs/games/etc and even general and dare I say it chat & games was good fun from time to time. But as I said, the forum is trashed. It's been allowed to morph into something that, I can only imagine to a lay person stumbling across it in search of Big Brother chat, is utterly horrifying. Who would join this forum today?? I know I'm only here mostly out of habit/nostalgia and because I genuinely once loved it here. I can only imagine that's the same for most of the old members still holding on.

I'm irked at myself for not seeing it sooner, I'm irked at the Moderators for giving up (although I do 100% understand), but really I'm mainly annoyed at those-in-charge for, ultimately, prioritising and appeasing old-guard membership over having a balanced and functional forum.

I include myself in that - Parmy ain't wrong, I should have been infracted a hundred times over and had multiple bans in the past year. Frankly there are a handful of members who have said things that warrant lengthy bans and would have resulted in them a few years back. Something has changed, policy wise, no one can realistically deny that. Also doesn't go unnoticed that posts like this that mention these things get closed/locked/deleted much quicker than the fighting and insults .

Ahh heck maybe I'm too hard on LT - maybe his posts and threads really were always like this. There just used to be a better balance to drown him out a bit more.

Way way back in those ‘good ole days’ as Soldier Boy you were more or less just the same. There were always people in your sights to belittle and in general to show off how superior you are to the average dumbo.

You can think that I'm wrong, it doesn't really matter? The forum is dead to old members (the ones who stayed as well as the ones who left) and completely unappealing to anyone new (not that there are many anyway, despite new seasons of Big Brother). Dead site. The staff know it. They're barely moderating. That's the death toll of a forum you can hear . I don't think it's just my "perception" that the site has slid into utter unmoderated nonsense... it's objectively a fact.

Well I cant recall seeing any posts other than yours and Glenn's rather vile attacks on LT that have required any moderating in the past few months. Apart from the one with the vile images that only 1 person seems bothered about...but that's in the past now.

Lts views ain't illegal, neither are mine. Maybe some of my wording is problematic for the moderators because it comes out in type a different way to what I'm thinking and makes it look worse than my thought is.

So yeah..personal attacks aside, I've not really seen anything worthy of anyones beady eye.

If you've seen them (which you must have, to know that they've been deleted) and a member of TiBB staff has seen them (which they must have, to delete them) then they've been seen by anyone who needs to see them. Who knows, maybe they'll even figure out why their site has died .

I don't think it can be partisan Parmy -- they don't infract LT either. I assumed they weren't infracting anyone so yes it is a bit crap if you're still getting them (if they are genuinely for similar things).
