I see Federer or Novak winning AO this year, both are in very good form!

I would love Murray to win obviously, but I have to be realistic

RG, Nadal.
Wimbledon, federer or a new GS winner, Berdych did well last year, Roddick is always looming despite his current 'OKish' form (reached Brisbane final)
US Open, could be anybodies! Just have to see how the season plays out

Very much looking forward to Australian Open to start! Woop!

women's draw looks more exciting than the men's at the moment, but Nalbandian v. Hewitt first round encounter looks pretty juicy! And Wozniacki v. Dulko (who has had scalps over Sharapova, Ivanovic, Henin, Petrova & Stosur)

Murray playing today?

Went on ladbrokes just then and saw he was 1/100 odds on to win

Ivanovic lost I am sad.

Clijsters on the other hand... owwwwwwwuch!! She on fire! double bageled Safina, surprisingly the second double-bagel of this AO [Bartoli recorded the first against Garbin]

Good match up's for the British girls, Baltacha v. Henin and Keothavong v. Petkovic.
Other noteable matches to look out for,
Sharapova v. Razzano,
Dokic v. Z. Strycova (could be a lot of home fans).
Simon v. Federer,
Tipsarevic v. Verdasco
Berdych v. Kohlschreiber

Exciting

I'm not surprised Ivanovic lost. She has been playing like crap for 2 years. She's nothing more than a piece of eye candy right now.

Hewitt is out too bad but i' m happy for nalbandian. Generally a great players.
Nadal won his first match due to opponent retiring. I am rooting for Nadal to win the Grand slam! I like the guy. If not Nadal then Novak or someone new is fine with me

I wouldn't mind Murray finally winning one but I think Nadal and Murray will meet at one point down the draw right? Maybe quarters or semis?
If that happens I always have to root for Nadal.

She won a title in Linz at the end of last year and then won a end of tour championships of a collective group of players who had all won titles in 2010. She isn't at her best but she was playing well in the lead up to AO but pulled out because of injury. I'm just shocked she lost, she was all over Makarova. Though she is now in the 4th round having beat Petrova so hats off to her!

Nadal had a mini scare in his second set against Tomic but looks to be on top of things. The men's draw is so exciting! I can see about 8 players capable of winning the title I can only see one in the women's; Kim Clijsters. Be good to see how she deals with Makarova in the next round. Li Na is one to watch as well

It would be the semi's if they both keep winning. After seeing this match against Tomic I see Murray having a good chance of repeating last year's quarter final!

I was also gutted Hewitt lost. Especially after Nalbandian retired in his second round match. I think Hewitt wouldnt have retired.

Wozniacki was playing well today... I'd like to think Schiavone would have won today hadn't it have been for that marathon match against Kuznetsova.

Kim is on superb form at the moment, definitely pick her for the title.

Men's is so hard to decide, top 4 remaining men are playing so well, i hope Nadal and Murray make the semi final. Already looking forward to Djok/Fed semi. In fact I have a semi thinking about it.

Just playing with you Andy - I know bugger all about tennis except betting - think the stat is about 80% of the time the greater seed wins, so just regularly bet short odds + a bit of insider when to go the other way and a small profit.

So my horseracing tipster tells me - but neither of us looked seriously at the markets

Big shock today.

Didn't get to see his performance but I'm informed he was carrying a slight injury, despite not saying he had. He's a very gracious loser, he said he didn't want to speak about any injury or any possibility of him having an injury because he didn't want to take anything away from David's victory.

Murray played well, his opponent was tricky, played a different style. I have no idea what will happen in the semi finals. Its too close to call, however I can't wait for them! Very excited

Womens: Kim v. Zvonareva.. whoever wins that semi final is a sure bet for the winner. C'mon Kim!
