I meant in terms of the Pichichi, i'm sure winning that will not give Messi any consolation of missing out on the La Liga trophy this year.

Madrid have been the more consistent team in La Liga this season, whichever way you look at it.

I'm not diminishing Madrid's success this season. From the way Messi was playing today, you could tell he wanted to score more. Having watched, heard, read so much about him, I'd be surprised if he had given up challenging Ronaldo for the pichichi- he's too competitive of an athlete to to do that.

I think what you think you're trying to get at is what happened after Thiago's goal.
