Barry Bannan is a good footballer. If you want to pass the living daylight out of a team hes your man. Hes just prone to some mistakes and over confidence. If he wipes that out, villa and Scotland would have a real key player.

I know nothing of that guys situation, but managers have certain people they like to work with, depending on when they want their players to peak during the season. Being out of work is not a slight on anyones ability in football. Loads of football people take/are forced to have time off for seasons at a time.

Doesn't prove the validity of what he says in any meaningful way, but at least it offers some balance.

He's outspoken, which is what most don't like about him. And it appears to be the only way he's ever garnered any sort of attention. Just doing the same now.

Bernand is a great talent from what I've seen. But missing out on your two top transfer targets will be a bitter pill for them to swallow. I mean why cant arsenal stop being over audacious and just go for a nice midfield player in Lamela or pjanic.
