I enjoyed it and didn't have a clue about Gavin until it suddenly dawned on me as it did on Sharon, then I just knew we wud get the doof doof, It did make me lol as well.

DTC said that Halloween was supposed to kick off a load of new big stories...what exactly were they?
The stuff with Stacy and Kyle...like we're probably not going to see him again till next year. Her and Martin...didn't get engaged and the baby is fine. I wonder if the kid's gender was something significant but I can't imagine why it would be.
Mick and Ronnie I guess are a step forward and tbh Dean's exit can't come quick enough.
As for the Gavin and Sharon reveal...yeah, duh.
I thought at least Abi would find out about Paul and they'd make her messy on Halloween annually.
It was entertaining though. The Babe and Eileen stuff was hilarious and I loved Rebecca's conversation with Martin. They need to use her more tbh, she's not a bad little actress.

I wish they'd tell us what this ****ing key is for though. It's been going on way too longLacey Turner said in a recent interview that she hasn't even found out what the key is for yet and they film like 6 weeks in advance.

Yeah, that's what annoyed me. Nothing really went anywhere.

Sharon's big new story is actually just a bigger involvement in the Kathy/Gavin saga.

I'm still confused as to why the nurse said she wasn't allowed to tell Stacey the sex of her own baby?

I know And since Sharon found out about Kathy, I've always thought of her as part of the story anyway.

apparently we're going to find out more about Gavin and Den's relationship and more about Sharon's mother but it doesn't really move anything plot wise forward. It just feels like character development. Which isn't a bad thing I suppose but I just want answers to stuff I guess.

Yeah, character stuff is brilliant but it would be nice to see one of the many mysteries resolved or at least see at least ONE PLOT ACTUALLY REACH A CONCLUSION.

It's weird. Like I want revolutions and development in these plots because I'm really enjoying watching them. I just think things like Kyle watching her ,who I really don't think we're going to see again until next year, need to be done later rather than teasing months before we get any answers about it.
Like Libby's secret. How long ago was that?

I think she wasn't allowed to tell her because she isn't far enough along to not have an abortion and it's to stop selective abortion.
