Not really to this extent, and certainly not in the middle of a pandemic, using the public health crisis specifically to enrich their friends.

As soon as dom happened we went from stay home, to stay alert instantly. Before the rules changed the gov were constantly leaking potential end dates of lockdown to journalists which gave people the confidence that life was coming back. Nothing happens in a vacuum.

Sage have been warning the gov this was about to happen, and the initial lockdown was supposed to buy us time to get t&t working and get an action plan in place. Boris went on another holiday then has been hiding again ever since. Sage wanted the circuit breaker in Sep, the gov knew better.

Asymptomatic should not be an issue if people social distance, treat everyone as riddled Track and trace is a joke and Dido Harding should be sacked, but there is a stat that just 17 per cent of people isolated for the full 14 days when contacted anyway, We can talk about how poorly the government have dealt with this, but the real losers are families who have lost loved one too soon, and the general public when businesses go under left right and centre

Fairly robust measures but not full lockdown. Central belt (3/4 of the entire population) has been on Level 3 for a while and rates seem to be coming down well, suggesting that it's a good middle ground .

I agree here, however we know people are lemmings that follow leaders. That's not meant to disparage anyone, it's just how we are as a species. Even the isolation policies weren't enforced. Take farage, he went over to the us during their first wave, then he came back here and a couple of days later was back on TV being interviewed about chasing refugees across the channel.

yes we are level 2 and the scottish graph is now levelling. We are coping and long may it continue
