Nah she was a push through, BB steer her through the show, because the third part of the love story is about to begin.

Lisa's ex girlfriend is going in, apparently not too willingly

Calm down. I was actually referring to the OP.

BB will change her life one way or another so at least it will break the pattern. People get stuck in their ways.

He's admitted he has no costs since he's living with his parents and that he would have signed on had he not

You guys are all stupid little sheep. He's only human, he's allowed to have faults. You don't do him any favours by blindly defending him and setting ridiculously high standards like he's some sort of saint

I wish people would get some perspective instead of being so quick to judge
Well said loomy. I live in the West Midlands and worked for a company for over 16 years until I was made redundant 5 years ago. I have not worked since and it was not fot the want of trying. But as a disabled person (which I am) and aged 54 it is almost impossible to get a job regardless of experience and qualifications. I wouldn't like to think that I am sponging. So why shouldn't Lisa be in the house?
Not from West Midlands but
Thanks for that Claymores.

Oh god, you're really clueless aren't you. He hasn't had a paying job. It's lovely for him he's had all that time for politics but that's what all the rich kids at university do; in fact that's what most university students do, never mind just the rich ones. Try to join in their silly little hippy protests that don't change anything just disrupt everyone trying to go about their normal lives

As a child they said robots would do all the work when I grew up. My signing on acts as a protest to that empty promise.

Most jobs suck. Most graduates can't get jobs in their chosen profession. Our society doesn't work properly, it needs ripping out and starting again. The monetary cost of goods and services has little basis in the actual value of real things. Moaners with crap jobs should jack them in and start dealing in the black market.

You are spot on mucker79. People need to get a grip that during these credit crunch days that unemployment is massively high.

Where did you hear that?

Lisa herself admitted to being 'long-term unemployed' which I think means considerably longer than 4 months.

What a ****ing joke of a thread. What does it matter if she is unemployed? Big Brother hasn't got anything to do with unemployment.

Oh and btw, not all people who are unemployed choose to be. Maybe you should consider others before making quite stereotypical and generalistic threads about topics you don't have a clue about.

I agree that people who are unemployed should be given government assistance without question. But Lisa hasn't worked for quite some time and that's because she chooses not to. We've made her too comfortable. I hope everyone on here who is sticking up for her is happy for their hard-earned taxes to go to keep her sitting on her arse watching Jeremy Kyle every day while you're out at work. I'd rather my taxes went to a more worthy cause than a bone-idle, able-bodied woman.

Let's hope you never have to claim the dole, eh? I have literally no qualifications and though I've been with this company for two years + if I became unemployed I would probably struggle to find another job. Over here you could leave school at 15 til this year, so dead-end retail jobs like mine are snapped up very very quickly, and there are always dropouts looking for
work.

Seems that you are the clueless one.

Freddie receives no allowance from his parents, he does live in their house rent free but he has to earn his own spending money.

He has had a paying job too because he previously worked as a door to door salesman, now he has several website ventures that he works on. He has done more work in the past 5 years than Lisa has done in 20.

Being from a rich background certainly can make life easier and provide a better education but Freddie's life is in no way similar to Lisa's. He has been brought up to work for what he wants (I believe the Fisher's are good people), where as she has lived on handouts.

The biggest difference between the two though is that Freddie was raised to be a decent and productive member of society, that he has come from a rich background isn't his fault. Lisa has no wish to be decent or productive at all and that she makes no effort to look for work is her fault.

I have no problem with my taxes going to people who need them, who are unemployed through no fault of their own.

But when someone says they havent worked in 20 years...something is very wrong.

Yes, right now jobs are thin on the ground, and very hard to come by, Im very glad I have mine (which I cant actually be fired from, and where there will always be demand) but it has not always been like this, and if she had been actively seeking work for the whole 20 years, there is more chance of winning the lottery than not finding even ONE fast food job.

This is, of course considering that she really has not had A job in that long, which she has boasted about a few times...I find it more likely she has had a few dead end jobs, really...
