My view on them is, I don't need to take them. I can't imagine why somebody would. I would think they've got nothing better to do.

I mean, it's about feeling a different feeling right? Why not explore life, explore the world, explore people... why do you need a substance, be it legal or illegal to feel something? Why not do what people do to feel more from life and that is to explore the world and try new things - that's a natural high.

I think that's why people on this thread are saying it's sad, unfulfilling and for losers.

I think it's a sad state of the society we live in that people really see this as an option, a viable option to do something with themselves. I can't believe there are pockets of society where people encourage it and if they don't like the personality of some people they said you should take them. It speaks for itself.

what if you have had a really hard day at work and just want to come home and unwind with a nice glass of wine, a spliff and a good film..wheres the harm in that if you have already explored what life has to offer ?

This is the crux to what I am saying.

I don't need the film, spliff or wine if I have experienced all life has to offer...

You see what I'm saying?

A lot of people, the vast majority of us around the world - don't need it.

Your Brain is a Goldmine of coping faculties based upon experience and development of the Brain there in.

If you need a drug, then your Brain isn't developing from experience.

The unfortunate thing is, the intervention and use of drugs in this day and age has largely been down to underground crime to manipulate the impulsiveness in the public. The drug says you need it, not you saying you do.

It's not a case of needing it though. It's a case of choice, a case of wanting it, one day you do, another you don't. These drugs are legal, so it is up to the individual to make the choice, you may use this forum as your escape for a short space of time, others like myself may use a couple of spliffs of a legal high as their escape, there is no harm in that.

When used recreationally it is not addictive.

Maybe but it's a case of perspective and wondering why others need it.

Not many people see the need/choice to take drugs as a recreation

Going slightly off topic but the nature of pain killers is a problematic one and one of the reasons some people use sedatives like Cannabis.

Pain killers basically take away the pain. Once the pain is gone, you do more therefore you aggravate the injury. I know some pain killers have anti-inflammatory properties but once the inflammation has gone this can also aggravate an injury.

So what happens? You need the pain killers again.

A sedative like Cannabis, basically makes you numb and switches you off.

Until there isn't a solution for these things then we can't really move on from the state of pain killers.

You can manage pain in other ways but a lot of people aren't susceptible to other forms of pain relief.

Cold-Cold-Cold or Heat-Heat-Heat

That solves it for me. If the cold doesn't work (3 x 15 minutes ever 2 hours) then I go for the heat.

DOes the trick. Like I said, there are options for a lot of pain - not the evil pain I mean. The devastating type that requires constant medication.

Well, I tried them.

My verdict is very very good, much better than the rubbish that can be bought from my local dealer. A little dearer but well worth the extra money.
