If it had been earlier in the song and put them off etc. When all the contestants are as good as they are this year, of course it would of effected their chance of staying this week, they would of performed badly because of it...

I have a great sense of humor thanks, that just wasn't funny. It was unproffessional, rude and could of distracted the contestants, it's just coincidence that it didn't.

Very few people vote on the performance, most people just vote for their favourites whether they're absolute shite or not.

John and Edward have a big fanbase and quite frankly they could come out singing Ba Ba Black Sheep and people would still vote for them.

If they end up in the bottom two, it's cause people haven't voted, not because of their performance.

Very true. If you don't believe me then you don't understand the mentality of voters in shows like this.

He doesn't deserve to go up in the charts because of this, he deserves to go up cause Flashback is a great song, his best yet. Definitely should be #1. That's my opinion anyway. The whole running on stage thing was just funny.

It is true.
Happens all the time, likeability overules talent in these shows now.
Take Strictly for example, you cannot honestly tell me that John Sargeant last year was being kept in because of his talent of dancing, its because people liked him... he literally tripped left, right and centre and still managed to get the highest % to save.

Same with:
Craig from Strictly, Eoghan from last year and J&E this year. Not very talented, but all managed to get far.

No, I know it does happen. I'm just saying you can't generalise the entire voting public, not everyone does that.

Also I think it depends, like if there's a particular thing happening, like the John Sergent thing, then people vote for that instead of dancing ability but not in general across the entire show and all the contestants. People aren't going to watch a dancing show and completely, 100% disregard the dancing.
