The only reason Twilight and Harry Potter films are so popular is because people adore the books. I don't think anyone is just obsessed with the films,it's the whole thing.

Loved the Harry Potter books growing up, but the films are not quite on par

The Twilight films made the books far more popular than the books made the films.

As for Harry Potter I'm actually a fan. Easy to read, well done characters, fully realized immersible world, good twists, overall good story.

That's fair enough. Ok, well I wouldn't rate it as highly as other gangster ones. Don't get me wrong, it's class but people do get carried away with how good it is.

I don't really consider the Godfather a trilogy either. The first two are perfect, the third is almost like a separate spin off that should have been subtitled as opposed to 'Godfather III'.
