No because there is worst things than death. Having to go to prison for life and live with what you did is far worse.

Tbh No, I believe a muderer pays for their crime in prison. However I believe they should be giving the death penalty if they kill a mass of people, or if they served there time in prison only to kill again after getting out.

Its complicated to say, because what if someone you cared and loved murdered someone else, would you want them to have the death penalty? From Exprerence my Uncle is in prison for killing someone, I never met him, but hes serving life for that murder. Before he went in they said he had mental problems, but they have helped him now, and now he is what you call a "reform christian".

So I think its a hard question to answer.

A lot of murderers, especially serial killers and gang members, lack any compassion or empathy to feel guilty for their crimes. In their mind, what they did was right, or they convince themselves that they are innocent. Living with what they did is not so bad.
