If that is the price we have to pay for equal rights - so be it! The world is full of stupid men and stupid women!

I'm quite proud to not be like that - I don't need to rely on booze to have a good time - unlike so many.

Here's one that's annoyed me for awhile -and I'm sure I'll get abused for mentioning-bt why does the ladies end of the draw get paid as much as the men's in tennis slams when they're on the court for less time and don't generate half as much money? I don't think that's fair on the lads who have to sweat their balls offfor 5 hours on a court just to get to the 4th round while Serena walks it to the semi finals with little or no trouble. Is that fair?

She is just some woman throwing out some statistics at us.

All I know is, there are man-hating "feminists" and then true feminists. You cannot be a man-hater and feminist at the same time. It's just.. impossible. These women are called female supremacists, and it's just as bad as racial supremacy and chauvinism. It's unnecessary ignorance and intolerance.

I thought she had some good points and I agree with her really, I fully believe in equal rights but if the work based stats she said were true then it's a fair point. If both Genders work the same amount of hours at the same job then they should get paid equally obviously and if anyone works less then it's only fair to those that work longer hours to get paid more and I'd say the same if the tables are reversed.

I'd like to believe her point about Women choosing family or career is overly pessimistic as I believe both women and men can juggle both.

I think that is just naiive and what employers recognise and build-nto the unsaid wage/employment dscrimination which just realistically reflects how society works (like it or not)

It still is the notional that male goes out and works, female work is secondary in relationship.

The couples I know where both work, still the wife has to put in more hours at home caring so the woman's career suffers

The females I know who have have house husbands are because they recognise the female has a far huger earning potential in a professional career.

The 2 profesionals without kids are interesting - these relationships tend to end as too much disposable cash and want to do their own things (my theory is that males and females not inherantly compatible without being tied to kids! and not too much in common the different genders except shag)

I'm in 3rd group as never wanted sprogs.

That usually only applies in working class families - where poorly educated men can earn more than poorly educated women.

In well educated professional couples where both have high earning potential - that is much less the case!

Women definitely play the victim more for their own gain. And use the power that the original feminists got them to satisfy their own needs.

Correction - some women! Just as some men try to play the superiority card and abuse their physical strength!

Why is it always men on domestic abuse adverts? And even child abuse adverts, do you not think they should show the womens side too?

Maybe its about the same percentage throughout society, maybe men feel under pressure not to report it for fear of being laughed at, ignored or simply told that doesnt happen.
