Thats a separate issue. Large signs still take time to load, which slows the system down. Moreso for some than for others.

Well some of them are too big, and they slow down the speed that threads open, especially when you open more than one thread at once and also on older PCs. Check the file sizes - some are several megabytes.

About 400K should be enough but even then animated sigs can be distracting. Remember people have to watch the same video over and over again in between posts.

Mine are off. When I used to use the netbook they'd take up half the bloomin' screen. Never switched them back on when I switched back to my PC. They're too distracting
