Hi, Andy.

I have to say that banner making takes LOTS of practice, and much searching the internet for tutorials!! It's taken me around 6 months to get the hang of it.

I use Photobucket to upload the banner files then link to them - it's a free storage site and easy to register and use.

As for the cost of Paint Shop Pro 7 or 8, I think it's around £80 or so to buy! You can download a free trial to see how you get on with it, which lasts for 60 days, then stops working if you don't then buy it. I'm now using Adobe Photoshop 7, which I 'acquired' from a friend.
