Honoured, I would say it was fairly inventive , definately doesnt fall into the predictable type of nickname now does it?

I think it will last more than a year. Long enough for the right wing of the Tories to urge full throttle slash and burn mode.........Then the libs will realise they have commited political suicide associating themselves with the slash and burn brigade........

All Labour has to do is sit back and wait for the repeat of the 1980's and 90's and the Tories and libs will become history for decades to come......

Amazing how many people actually WANT the coalition to fail in order to score party political brownie points. How about hoping instead that it works in the national interest?

Major cracks will start to be seen in the next few weeks but both sides of this coalition are so desperate for power that they will make it work as best as they can.
However when the huge cuts start and the parties disagree on them with wide public disapproval then the coalition will start to crumble. I give it 2years maximum, in my opinion we will have a labour majority again in 2011

Totally, people should give them a chance because they can't work their magic over night...

And of course Labour weren't "desperate for power" were they, trying to sabotage the coalition with their shameless attempts at a rainbow coalition?

As for huge cuts, that's what happens when you have had a profligate and incompetent government in power for 13 years who have left this country in massive debt. The latest estimate is £2 TRILLION!

Labour would have had to do exactly the same thing to clean up THEIR mess, or are you suggesting they would have carried on amassing more debt by continuing to do what they do best and borrow like there's no tomorrow? Please, less of the BS and get real.
