I've got lots of forum mates on here and on the other places I post, and I know that if I was ever on a downer, people would cheer me up. Sometimes I find other people are going through bigger things than me so I often hang back, thinking I'll be ignored.

Anyway, I think I'll be leaving this forum tonight knowing who my friends are! (And Fernzy, I'd say I was a good poster cos I like to chat and even when I post random smilies, they're after posting something!)

I also think it helps by typing it rather than saying it. Its easier to chat online than to talk outloud in some cases!

Yep I open up more on here than I do in real life, I am actually quite shy in real life but I come on here and I can express my thoughts.

This is the best forum around for my money in terms of topics and range of members and that's why I become annoyed with this spammers and drivel posters.

Yes I agree. My mates love BB anyway so that doesn't really apply here for me, but yeah I agree with that!

Then again there is a downside to it, you get people who have like no friends coming on here talking and well they're of a strange specimen sometimes.

Yeah a lot of people are like that. I'm me...lol. I'm just generally outgoing, will chat to anyone (who has decent stuff to say!) and I don't change much. I'm not really shy at all. It probably comes from being in scouts because you meet like 100's of people and you just talk to each other, it's brushed off a lot on me.

Thanks everyone for being so nice to me - I've dealt with a lot and it's good to know I fit in on a place where I thought I was an outsider. I do get depressed from time to time as I've had a lot to deal with and this past year in particular has been traumatic for me.

I'd say on the Internet, I'm pretty much as I am in real life. I can be shy and nervous around new people and in new situations, but open up once I get to know people better and find my feet. I can be extroverted once I get going, but find I can't always be like that naturally.

Bye Kizwiz and Stropz, thanks for bringing up the issue as I felt I was alone in thinking it. Like the other day me and Kizwiz were on and the posts of I want to kiss you all over and other stuff came up and me and Kiz were the only ones who seemed shocked by it and people were saying awww how sweet and stuff and I left the site in fear of losing my sanity.

Anyway I am glad you're feeling better about things Nicola, just remember we are here to listen.

I remember you from Cullen's vbb and you did so well when you settled into things and we chatted quite a bit in the end.

It can be easy to get left out with more vocal members and also it can be easy to get lost on some threads especially of late.
