No, I actually like it, the skins really smooth and shiny and I find scars fascinating anyway, they show a person has lived.

Some of you are really repulsive.

He should be proud & he clearly is and it's sad that people have to try and put him down when really he was in the force and he had courage to do something that I doubt any of you would, it's just acceptable in your eyes that you sit back and judge, seriously I'm sure you're all as brave and honourable as Steve is. I'm sure you're all absolute stunners too!

Personally - I'd rather have an ugly body than an ugly mind - that is a real disability!

It's vile that some people actually think he should hide what has happened to him. Noone should be made to feel like they need to hide any physical deformities that they have especially ones like Steve's which he got through honour and fighting for his country. I think he'd be more mortified to think he has fought for people as narrow-minded as you than the fact that your 'offended' by his body!

Guys, let's all just calm down here. OP is trying to wind people up, clearly it's working. TRW is just trolling, no one should take him/her/it seriously...

yes they should, most people who have scares on their face have the common decency to wear makeup that covers it up

Right to all you self righteous lot who think what OP says in horrid ,lets put it like this ,Do you use concealer to cover dark circles under your eyes,? if you were going out on a night out and a great big zit appeared would you think "I am not covering it,it is who I am,it is part of me " or would you grab your concealer ?,would you go out in old scruffy clothes with no make up ? if you answered no then you are hypocrites ,its just the same ,you would cover a spot up to look better ,but its ok to have scars stuffed in peoples faces,no different

There's a huge difference in those things you mentioned and a scar like Steve's. Scars are very hard/impossible to cover up and you're stuck with them for life, so you have to learn to love them, or end up hiding yourself away for the rest of your life and cause great mental distress to yourself. Why should someone have to do that just because to some small minded, shallow people it may cause offence?

So in your world, people that suffer terrible injuries through no fault of their own and have to live with scars that are near on impossible to cover, should cover themselves from head to toe or never leave the house? My god I'm glad I don't think like you.
