Mario has accepted it, but Ben needs to stop being all feely with him and leading him on.

At the beginning Ben was flattered by Marios attention to him, he enjoyed having him by his side when he got caught up with a lot of arguments at the beginning with a lot of other housemates.
Mario always stood on his side, no matter what sort of fool Ben made of himself (just remember the first weeks when Ben constantly was saying sorry to someone).

He told Mario he is his friend, that he trusts him, which means he made not clear where the line is that Mario is not allowed to cross.
Now Ben found a new cuddle Friend in Dave, and poor Mario got kicked away.
